Cleveland experimental hip-hop artist Ghost Noises proudly presents "Hell is for Children" - an ode to dysphoria, reinvention, & momentum in a stationary existence. 12 songs sampled & infused with emotion from the depths of their record collection, immersed with the past experiences of a decade under the influence. Erupting in a blaze of triumph, "Hell is for Children" illuminates it's own path through aspirations of a better life. Clouded snapshots of the past collide with clear visions of possible futures. Illusions of self are obscured by delusions of grandeur, soundtracked by thundering drums & cacophonous funk. Loops & samples are activated to their infinite potential - manifesting both past & future at once, augmenting the push to live presently amidst a lifetime of disconnection. Lyrically oscillating between the stark, candid, & absurd, Ghost Noises paints a portrait of fluidity in a turbulent world - boldly laughing in the face of absolute despair, delivering even the bleakest of lines with a knowing smile. Finding clarity in mysterious places, cleaning the debris from a smeared mirror, peering into a miracle once seen only as a mistake - at the depths it's molten core, Hell is For Children urges us to accept love into our lives & speak truth to power in a disgusting world.
